In the morning we gathered our belongings and headed to Zermatt’s railway station after a quick breakfast. We rode back to Täsch and continued our journey on our rental car towards Germany. While we drove through the Furka Pass (that some may know from a James Bond classic Goldfinger), we passed an endless line of cyclist who were taking part of some kind of race. Not until we reached the Munich airport did we stop for a lunch. The evening flight back to Helsinki offered us the last glance on the mountains, before returning to the uneventful Finnish landscape.

Keräsimme aamulla tavaramme ja suuntasimme nopean aamupalan jälkeen Zermattin juna-asemalle. Palasimme tuttua reittiä Täschiin ja jatkoimme sieltä vuokra-autollamme kohti Saksaa. Alkumatka kulki pyöräkilpailijoita ohitellen pitkin viikon takaa tutun Furkasolan serpentiiniteitä, jotka ovat Bond-faneille tuttuja elokuvasta 007 ja kultasormi. Ajoimme yhtä kyytiä Müncheniin asti ja kävimme syömässä vasta lentokentällä. Iltalento takaisin Helsinkiin tarjosi meille vielä viimeiset näkymät vuorille ennen paluuta tasaisempaan maastoon.
